Luqman. بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ الٓمّٓ (1) تِلْكَ اٰیٰتُ الْكِتٰبِ الْحَكِیْمِ (2) هُدًى وَّ رَحْمَةً لِّلْمُحْسِنِیْنَ (3) الَّذِیْنَ یُقِیْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَ یُؤْتُوْنَ
Luqman (alayhi salam) is a character mentioned in the Quran quite briefly. However, it is an interesting conversation because he is giving advice to his son and does so in the best of ways. Muqadimah Surat Luqman Surat Luqman terdiri atas 34 ayat, termasuk golongan surat-surat Makkiyyah, diturunkan sesudah surat Ash Shaaffaat. Dinamai 'Luqman' karena pada ayat 12 disebutkan bahwa 'Luqman' telah diberi oleh Allah ni'mat dan ilmu pengetahuan, oleh sebab itu dia bersyukur kepada-Nya atas ni'mat yang diberikan itu.
